The LEARN Program is very different from fad,
quick-fix diets. |

| The LEARN Program is a step-by-step
skill building approach that teaches participants new skills that are
necessary to maintain a healthy weight in today's environment.

|
|
| The program is taught by two Registered Dietitians, each
with over 25 years of experience. |
|
|
| |
|
|
| LEARN participants learn the when, how and why their
food-related habits occur and, more importantly, how to incorporate
healthier habits into their daily life-style. |

|
|
| The dietitians evaluate all your medical conditions in
relationship to weight management and incorporate the information into
your diet plan |

Program Objectives |
|

| |
- Participants will be able to set realistic, achievable goals
- Participants will gain the information needed to consume a
balanced diet including all the food groups
- Participants will be able to identify healthy portion sizes
- Participants will understand how to read food labels
- Participants will will be able to identify emotional eating and
its triggers
- Participants will be exposed to over 200 life-style change
techniques
- Participants will be able to eat in a restaurant without guilt

Program Structure |

| |
- 13 week one-on-one adult weight management program administered
by Registered Dietitians
- The program includes reading and tracking food-related
activities
- Light exercise (usually walking) is an essential part of the
program
- Weekly format allows dietitians to identify nutrition and
fitness trouble areas immediately and to make appropriate changes so
that weight management success is maximized
